This program provides uniform items to students who may not be able to afford new items on their own. For a specific list of needs, please contact the church or pick up a list on Sunday.
UPDATE: To date, we have collected over $350 to put towards the needs of the Clothing Closet, leading to the purchase of over 70 clothing pieces.
Shamokin Area School District Back pack program - For the summer, we are collecting food items to supplement the school's backpack program. Food items are given out on a weekly basis during the school year to students who may not be able to afford food. We also take monetary donations to either buy food or apply directly to the program. The cost to feed a student for a school year is $200.
UPDATE: To date, we have donated over $800 and 500 food pieces to support the Back Pack Program.
